A day with Duet

How a day goes

  1. A phone showing a morning summary of mail, calendar and documents next to a sunrise and a cup of coffee

    1 Morning

    Morning brief

It reads your email and calendar, picks out what matters today and can start first steps, such as drafting replies for you to review.

  2. A friendly robot with a magnifying glass looking over mail, calendar and folder tiles, with a clock behind it

    2 During the day

    Regular check-ins

It looks at your connected apps again at intervals and messages you only when something needs you or a job is done.

  3. A finger about to tap the green check button under a planned message on a phone

    3 Before it acts

    It asks first

It shows the action it plans and waits for your OK. If you cannot answer right away, it does other work and comes back later.

  4. A closed laptop asleep under the moon while a computer on a cloud keeps working

4 After you close the app

    Keeps working in the cloud

It runs on its own computer in the , so the work goes on after you close the app.

It checks at intervals, not all the time, so something urgent may wait until the next check. does not publish the exact interval.

You stay in charge

What it asks your approval for

Duet plans an action

It shows you exactly what it is about to do

  • Sending a message Waits for your OK
  • Making a payment Waits for your OK
  • Signing a document Waits for your OK
  • Deleting anything Waits for your OK

Not even with your approval

  • Trading stocks or other securities
  • Moving money between accounts

Purchases you approve use a one-time card through Link (Stripe) or Shop Pay (Shopify). Approvals matter because emails and web pages can hide tricky instructions.

  • Check the age rule

Anthropic’s terms say users must be at least 18, or older where law requires it. If you are younger, learn about it with a parent or teacher.

  • Read before you tap OK

Duet can make mistakes. Read every draft and approval card: who it goes to, how much it costs, what gets deleted.

  • Watch for tricks

An email or web page can hide instructions aimed at the AI ( injection). If a request looks strange, say no.

  • Connect only what you need

Each app you connect lets Duet read it. You can disconnect an app at any time, but what it already remembered stays.

  • Keep secrets out of the chat

Never type passwords, card numbers or numbers into the chat. Duet asks for passwords in a separate form.
